This Privacy Policy describes how Studiomall ("we", "us", or "our"), operating through studiomall.in and associated mobile applications, collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information.

1Information We Collect

We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with our Platform — whether as a Customer, Studio Partner, or visitor.

a) Information You Provide

  • Account Registration: Name, phone number, email address when you create an account or register as a Studio Partner.
  • Address & Location: Full address, house number, street, area, city, state, pincode, and GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) for order delivery and studio location mapping.
  • KYC Documents (Studio Partners): Aadhaar card (image and number), PAN card (image and number), Voter ID, Driving Licence, Signature photo — collected for identity verification and regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Information (Studio Partners): Bank account holder name, account number, bank name, IFSC code, and GST number — required for payout processing.
  • Photos: Passport-size photos uploaded by customers for printing purposes.

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Session Data: Device type (Web/Mobile), user agent string, IP address, session identifiers, and timestamps of activity.
  • Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver real-time order updates and notifications.
  • Transaction Data: Payment method, transaction amounts, Razorpay order/payment identifiers, and payment gateway responses.
  • Order Activity: Order history, status updates, delivery details, and service-level agreement (SLA) performance data.

2How We Use Your Information

  • Service Delivery: To process orders, match customers with nearby studio partners, facilitate photo printing, and coordinate delivery via Porter or self-pickup.
  • Payment Processing: To process payments through Razorpay, issue refunds, manage cancellations, and settle partner payouts via RazorpayX.
  • Account Management: To authenticate users via OTP-based login, manage sessions, and maintain account security.
  • Partner Onboarding & KYC: To verify the identity and credentials of Studio Partners, process KYC documentation, and enable payout functionality.
  • Notifications: To send real-time order updates, delivery status alerts, and important platform announcements via push notifications.
  • Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, monitor SLA performance, detect fraud, and improve our services.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Studio Partners: Your name, phone number, delivery address, and uploaded photos are shared with the assigned studio partner to fulfil your order.
  • Payment Processors: Transaction details are shared with Razorpay and RazorpayX for payment processing, verification, and partner settlements.
  • Delivery Partners: Pickup and delivery addresses are shared with Porter for order delivery coordination.
  • Cloud Service Providers: Photos and documents are stored on Cloudinary. Infrastructure services use MongoDB and Redis for data management.
  • Firebase (Google): FCM tokens are processed through Google Firebase for push notification delivery.
  • Legal & Regulatory: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Studiomall, our users, or the public.

4Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard encryption and access controls.
  • KYC documents and uploaded photos are stored on Cloudinary with secure URL access.
  • Payment information is handled directly by Razorpay — we do not store your credit/debit card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.
  • Session data and authentication tokens are managed via JWT (JSON Web Tokens) with expiration controls.
  • We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as mandated under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
  • Despite our efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

5Cookies & Session Management

We use HTTP-only cookies and local storage to manage your authentication sessions. These are essential for the Platform to function and are not used for advertising or third-party tracking. By using the Platform, you consent to the use of these essential session management mechanisms.

6Your Rights

In accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements and legitimate business interests.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer if you believe your data has been mishandled.

7Children's Privacy

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Razorpay payment pages, Porter tracking). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
